Acqelo is an AI-powered business assistant that operates through WhatsApp on behalf of subscribed tradespeople. The service includes:
Important — AI Disclosure: Acqelo uses artificial intelligence to respond to your customers on your behalf. Your customers interact with an AI assistant. By subscribing you confirm you have read and understood this and accept responsibility for ensuring your customers are treated fairly in all AI-assisted interactions.
Acqelo is available to UK-based sole traders and small business owners operating in the trades sector. You must be:
Gas engineers must hold valid Gas Safe Register registration. Other regulated trades must hold all applicable licences and certifications required by law.
4.1 Pricing. Acqelo is provided on a monthly subscription basis. Current pricing is displayed at acqelo.com. Pricing may change with 30 days' written notice to your registered email address.
4.2 Free Trial. New subscribers may be offered a free trial period. No payment is taken during the free trial. At the end of the free trial your subscription will not automatically convert to paid — you must actively choose to continue. We will notify you before your trial ends.
4.3 Billing. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. By providing payment details you authorise Acqelo Ltd to charge your payment method on the billing date each month.
4.4 Failed Payments. If a payment fails we will notify you and attempt to collect payment again within 3 business days. If payment cannot be collected your service will be suspended until payment is resolved.
4.5 Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. To cancel, message your Acqelo assistant in your operator thread or email hello@acqelo.com.

Acqelo operates via the WhatsApp Business API, subject to Meta's Business Policy. You acknowledge that:
Your use of Acqelo involves the processing of personal data — both your own business data and the personal data of your customers. This processing is governed by our Privacy Notice and Data Processing Agreement, which form part of these Terms of Service.
In summary:
Acqelo Ltd retains all intellectual property rights in the Acqelo platform, including its AI systems, software, design, and documentation. You retain ownership of your business data and any content you provide. You grant Acqelo Ltd a limited licence to use your business information solely for the purpose of providing the service.
Acqelo Ltd aims to maintain service availability of 99% or above. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by third-party providers including WhatsApp, Twilio, or internet service providers. In the event of significant service disruption lasting more than 48 hours we will apply a pro-rata credit to your next billing period.
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Acqelo Ltd may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:
On termination you may request an export of your business data within 30 days. After 30 days your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by WhatsApp message to your operator thread and by email at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not accept the changes you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
